What a great day for a marathon!
We’re very happy to have been able to participate in the relay for the third year in a row here in Pittsburgh and this year was certainly extra special for us. As an official team running on behalf of the North Huntingdon-based nonprofit Genre’s Kids with Cancer Fund, we were able to raise $2,190 in sponsorships.
We’d like to thank each and every person and organization that helped us out — especially Motorists Mutual, Mutual Benefit, and Grange Insurance for their sizable donations. But everyone who donated or supported us otherwise certainly deserves a huge thanks as well. We couldn’t have done it without you and we know Genre’s Kids appreciates your support as well. Every dollar of that money raised goes directly to children and their families when they need it more than ever.
And in case you’re curious, Rupp-Fiore Insurance finished the marathon in 4:04. Not our best time these past three years, but we’ll take it! Order of the team’s runners are as listed below:
1. Ryan Farabaugh 2. Bill Saunders (of Motorists Mutual Insurance) 3. Dan Fiore 4. Candy Schaffer 5. Joe Fiore
Rupp-Fiore Insurance Management Inc. is proud to announce that we earned the Senior Partner designation from Grange Insurance in 2013.
Barely 10% of Grange’s 3,600 partnered agencies across the country earned this status, which also happens to be the highest honor Grange awards. We happily accept the honor as a tribute to the hard work of our staff year-round and the continued trust of our amazing clients.
“Grange sells its products through independent insurance agents only because they offer the best insurance guidance, represent a variety of companies to find the best fit for each individual, family or business, and support the community where they live and work.”
As one of the more than 40 regional and national carriers Rupp-Fiore Insurance provides for their clients, Grange has proven itself as a pivotal addition to our roster of partners. Offering home and auto coverage for individuals as well as various lines of coverage for businesses of all sizes, they’ve quickly become a reliable go-to source for quality coverage and claims support since we first offered their products in 2009.
“Rupp-Fiore is a terrific example of a high-performing agency and how independent agents provide the best option for people looking to protect what’s important to them.”
Rupp-Fiore Insurance will be running the Pittsburgh Marathon relay this year for North Huntingdon’s own Genre’s Kids with Cancer Fund. Genre’s Kids is a remarkable organization helping children diagnosed with cancer and their families both morally and financially throughout the very toughest of circumstances.
Needless to say, we are very proud to be running on their behalf this year and we’ve set a goal for donations at $5,000. We’re well on our way with many of our insurance carriers committing to matching our own $500 donation, but we’d love your help too. Any amount would be greatly appreciated and your name will be included as a contributor on the CrowdRise donation site.
